Future Model?

Not that Hailey isn't already cute enough, but she has developed what we call her "cute" pose where she tilts her head sideways while looking at you with those eyes!  She has also learned how to clap and likes to join in when when she hears and sees other people clapping.  This is her first pigtail, which makes mom very excited.

Pumpkin Patch

October 11th we went to a local pumpkin patch. The weather was very cold. It was in the low 5o's. It was at a local farm. There were stations set up for little crafts and a huge pumpkin patch. We walked around the patch searching for Hailey's first perfect pumpkin. I love the fall season. The color of the autumn leaves, the gardens full of pumpkins, and the excuse to get bundled up and drink hot cider!

Hailey's 1st trip to the zoo

October 18th the Denver Zoo had a free day. With money being tight right now we love free stuff, so we decided to go. It was a beautiful, sunny, 80 degree weather day. We were able to dress Hailey in shorts for the last time this year, and a Utah State University t-shirt given to her by Grandpa & Grandma Stewart. Because it was a free day there were a lot of people there. We took Hailey's stroller but, because of the height of the animal exhibits she spent most of her time in our arms. We were able to see the usual animals like lions, monkeys, giraffes and seals. We even saw zebras and some other African safari animals but, Hailey's favorite were the birds. We call them tweet tweets! For the longest time she has loved listening to birds.   She was more interested in watching the animals than we thought she would be, and she was fascinated by all the people! It is definitely something we will do again!

Rockies Game

We took Hailey to her first Rockies game! Del had tickets through her work and it was a big family event. Hailey did really well! She mostly played with her cousin Sienna and her Aunt Ashlee. It was really fun to get together! Afterwards there were even fireworks that we saw while we headed to the car! Hailey liked the big bursts of color!

Going to give it a try!

Hi, we're going to give blogging a try. Everyone I know is doing it so I thought I needed to join in. Life is really busy so hopefully I will be able to keep up with it!

Hailey is still the center of our lives. It is hard to believe that she is 9 months old already! Time goes by so fast. She now sits up by herself, and her new thing is peek-a-boo! She loves to play it with her bath towel, her burp rag, and her blanket.  She keeps us entertained!
Hailey has started to get her teeth. Her two front bottom teeth are the first to come in. She drools alot, but seems to be pretty happy, and getting through it. She likes to chew on everything and we found some teething tablets that work very well.

Doug is busy with teaching. He had his first concert on September 11th. The concert had great songs that express why we are so blessed to live in this great country. No matter who we are or where we come from we should very grateful for this great country we live in and for those that fight to keep it free.

I am still enjoying working in the dental field. After Hailey was born I took a job at a dentist office closer to our house. It has been a great decision for our family and I am really enjoying where I am.

This will get things started. More will follow.
